Our Calisthenics classes at Palmera Fitness in Brookvale focus on building strength, control, endurance and movement using your own bodyweight. These sessions improve athletic performance while developing real, functional strength in a high-energy group training environment.
We offer two distinct Calisthenics classes—Conditioning and Skills—so you can train both performance and technique while continually progressing.
Calisthenics Conditioning
Calisthenics Conditioning classes are designed to build endurance, strength, and work capacity through dynamic, bodyweight-based training.
These sessions are fast-paced and challenging, combining movements such as push-ups, pull-ups, dips, squats, lunges and core exercises into structured circuits and intervals. The focus is on maintaining quality movement while working at higher intensities to elevate heart rate, burn calories and improve overall fitness.
Classes are suitable for all fitness levels, with coaches providing regressions and progressions to ensure everyone is challenged safely. Calisthenics Conditioning is ideal if you want to improve stamina, build lean muscle and push your physical limits in a motivating group setting.
Calisthenics Skills
Calisthenics Skills classes focus on technique, control and progression through more advanced bodyweight movements.
In these sessions, you’ll work on strength-based skills such as handstands, muscle-ups, pull-up variations, core holds and controlled transitions. The emphasis is on learning proper technique, improving mobility and building the foundational strength required to progress safely.
Training is broken down into drills and progressions, allowing members to develop skills at their own pace with expert coaching and feedback. These classes are perfect for anyone wanting to master bodyweight movements, improve coordination and develop long-term strength and control.
